If You Were A Booger I’d Pick You

It all started when one of Kareena’s uncles pretended to pick one of Kareena’s aunties nose at the dinner table.  Since then, she’s learned that her finger can go in her nose and that it would provoke a bunch of ew’s and laughs.  Whenever she wants my attention, this is the look i’d get.  This face, along with that finger usually gets my attention and a good laugh. 

As I turn away and look back, I see this:

Me:  Whatcha doin’ Kareena?
Kareena: (Turns to me with a surprised look)

Me:  EEEEWW!!  That’s yucky! 
Kareena: “eeeeww.”

Me:  “ew.  Can you take your finger out please.”
Kareena:  “pease!”
Me:  “”ew, you’ve got something on your finger!”

Me:  “hold on, let mommy wipe it.”
Kareena:  “mmmm”
Me:  “uh oh. Noo!  Don’t put it in your mouth, it’s yucky!”

Me:  “Ugh.”

Why do kids eat their boogers?  I don’t think she ate a booger here - but she does it cuz its gross and she thinks it’s funny.
