Cupcakes - Part II

Cupcakes again?  Yes.  Coincidently, we were given cupcakes again today.  We went to Starbucks and one of the baristas offered us a free cupcake.  I thought it was someone’s leftovers and was about to decline the offer.

Barista:  “Do you guys like chocolate?”
Me:  “I’m ok, but he - “ 
Kenny:  “YES.”
Me: …does”
Barista:  “Here’s a cupcake for you guys.”
Kenny:  “oook, but is it poisonous or something - what’d you do to it?” 
Barista:  (giggling with the what-the-heck look at the same time)  “Is there poison in it? No.  But it’s something new that we’re having out next week.”
Us:  “oooh”

 So upon examining the box closer, it turned out to be a Starbucks Cupcake.  Wow, it makes me wonder if they’re going to charge extra for that fancy box that it comes in - not to mention the sticker.  I’m guessing that it’s going to cost at least $3 per cupcake when it comes out.

I couldn’t wait to open the box to see what the cupcake looks like.  Afterall, I’m on a cupcake craze ever since Adrienne got me some from Dots.  I was kind of disappointed when I opened it.  It didn’t look too appetizing.  It looks way too rich and chocolatey for me - and why is the chocolate frosting so dark?  I was hoping it’d be some coffee flavored cupcake.   Now that would be really awesome.  I haven’t tried it yet - not sure that I will.  eek.
