I’ve been looking forward to this much needed 3-day weekend and it’s finally here. I doubt i’ll be getting any rest or extra sleep but at least I don’t have to go to work! Today is day 3 in my attempt to stick to a real workout and diet plan. My first day of working out consisted of 50 push-ups. I couldn’t raise my arms at all after that. I am still sore. They are so sore and stiff that when I walk, I feel like I have these big buff arms but I don’t. I’m not sure what’s in store for me at tonight’s workout session or if i’ll even be able to do anything with my arms - but I’m excited! The other part of it? A healthier diet. Meaning making healthier choices whenever I eat - what does that mean? I’m so used to eating whatever I want. That’s going to be a real challenge - as you can see in the previous post. Who can give up pasta and white bread? Caramel kettle corn? Lattes?
My eating habits are kind of being monitored by Kenny, but he’s too much of a softie to tame me. Like me, he also has a weakness for fattening foods - except he’s just blessed with high metabolism and a naturally chiseled body. Poor me. I do have to watch what I eat.
But luckily, I do have favorite foods that are healthy. I behaved today. This is what I had for lunch. It was so fresh and so good!
For you sashimi lovers, are you drooling yet? If not, maybe this might make you drool :)
